Pontremoli

Pontremoli is a town in the province of Massa Carrara. Pontremoli is located on the northernmost of the Region of Tuscany in central Italy, finding the high valley of the river Magra, north of the area known as Lunigiana. The village is located within a basin, surrounded by high hills, a place where in the past there were links between the Po Valley, Liguria, but also Tuscany, once route of the Via Francigena and still pattern important infrastructure like Highway A15 and the railway line Pontremolese, connecting directly with Parma La Spezia.
